I love this guy. He's happy with his tacos, chasing the surf, and checking in with his bees at dawn: "Why do people watch the sunset; it's a diminishing act. The sunrise has so much more power. It's the start of something new..." Rockaway Taco is the story of how a simple life can have a big impact on a community.

Today was the last day for the annual National Geographic Photo Contest - The Atlantic posted some of its choice entries thus far here; You can view every photo entered this year here. The winners will be announced on December 15.
